Daily Logistics & Operations

Q: What time does drop-off start and end?
     A: Drop off: 7:30-7:45 Preschool, 7:15-7:45 Elementary/Upper School. Tary bell rings at 7:50.


Q: How long does the carpool line typically take?
     A: 10 minutes start to finish


Q: Is there staff supervising drop-off and pick-up?
    A: Yes, for all 3- Preschool, Elementary, and Upper School


Q: What happens if I’m late for pickup?
    A: Please try and give a heads up to the front office, but your child will be watched over regardless until you are there and attempts to contact you will be made. 


Q: Are there bus services or transportation options?
    A: Yes, to one location only in Carencro (Lowes). Pick up in the morning is at 7:00 am and Drop off in the afternoon is 3:45. 


Q: Can older students drive themselves?
    A:Yes, they can. They will need to receive and pay for a parking pass with Mrs. Brown, our Upper School Administrative Assistant.
 

Q: Do you offer before-care and after-care programs?
     A: After care will be available daily while school is in session. from 3:30-5:30. Part time, full time, and drop in options available. 


Q: What are the hours and costs for extended care?
    A: from 3:30-5:30. Part time, full time, and drop in options available. 


Q: Is aftercare structured (homework help, activities) or just supervision?
    A: Aftercare is structured. Homework will be started and activities are available. 
 

Q: What does the yearly calendar look like (holidays, breaks)?
    A: Calendars are available prior to the beginning of each Academic year so family planning can be done in advance.


Q: Do you follow the public school schedule or your own?
    A:Typically the same as public school, but may vary depending.


Q:Are there frequent half-days or early dismissals?
    A:No.


 

Q: Is there a required uniform?
    A:Yes


Q: Where do we buy uniforms?
   A: Uniformity in Lafayette off of Pinhook Rd.


Q: How strict is the dress code enforcement?
   A: We require every student to follow the dress code and guidelines.
 

Q: Is lunch provided, or do students bring their own?
   A: Students bring their own lunch. 


Q: Are there meal plans or catering options?
   A:Yes, students can utilize Lunch Box Live (lunchboxlive.net)


Q:How are food allergies handled?
   A:We ask that foods that contain nuts are not present and if they must, please let the teacher know.
 

Q: How often do students go on field trips?
    A: At least twice a year.


Q: Are parents allowed or required to chaperone?
    A: No.


Q: What extra costs should we expect during the year?
    A:Typically, Fun days and Field trips. Occasionally, for class parties which is not 
 

Q: Do students need laptops or tablets?
    A: Lower and Upper Elementary utilize Chromebooks in class and Upper School students are issued their own Chromebooks. 


Q: Are books and supplies included in tuition?
    A: Books are included in tuition, supplies are not. You can expect a list in advance to prepare for the following year. 
 

Q: Is there a school nurse or health office?
   A: No, they are to report to the Administrative Assistants for each division.
 

Academics & Curriculum

A: MAP Testing (Measurement of Academic Progress), given 3 times a year to identify strengths and weaknesses
B: To track academic growth year-to-year
C: To help teachers personalize instruction
 

A: 12-15 per class with two classes per grade.

A: We offer advanced/fast track Math and Science classes in 6th grade and we offer Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment in Upper School.

A: We do offer tiered services for students with IEP and tutoring options over the summer. 

A: K5-8th grade students take MAP testing, 9th grade students take Pre-ACT, and 10-11 grade students take the ACT. 

A: We consistently outperform state and national averages for the MAP and ACT

Faith & Biblical Integration

A: None, we learn from the Bible itself and speak from scripture.

A: Not only does our curriculum integrate God’s word into every lesson but we also attend chapels weekly.

A: Scriptures from the Bible.

A: If students have questions about different religions, we ask that they talk to their parents.

A: Biblical discipline can come through Scripture, life circumstances, personal conviction, or guidance from others. It’s meant to produce humility, spiritual growth, and a stronger relationship with God, not fear or shame.

B: Biblical discipline is loving correction and training from God that helps a person grow into a more faithful and righteous life.

A: Participating in chapel, showing kindness, forgiveness, and Christ-like character in everyday situations, making friendships that pursue spiritual growth, using talents and gifts that serve others.

A: Being a positive example through actions, praying for classmates and teachers, demonstrating honesty and integrity in schoolwork or behavior, including a student who may feel left out.

Teachers & Staff

A: All faculty go through Biblical WorldView and are active members of their local church.

A: We have some teachers that have stayed for 10+ years, the longest being over 30.

Student Experience

A: School begin at 7:50 from there you can expect instructional time, PE, Art, or Computer, with end of day at 3:14.

A: Varies by level and teacher but you will have the option to have a study hall period from 4-12 grade.

A: 4H, BETA, Mission Team, Rangers

A: STUCO in Upper Elementary, Middle, and High school and NHS for 11th-12th graders.

A: Through various channels. Sports, clubs, and in class activities, or summer camps.

A: students are challenged to grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, serve others, and pursue excellence in and out of the classroom. We value strong partnerships with families and believe in fostering kindness, respect, leadership, and integrity throughout our campus.

A: We have a no bullying policy first and foremost. Any report or observation of bullying is taken seriously right away. We act quickly to protect the student who is being harmed and to address the situation.

B: We address behavior through a biblical lens, helping students reflect on their choices, take responsibility, and understand what it means to treat others with love and respect.

C: Our goal is not only to stop harmful behavior, but to shape character, helping students grow in kindness, self-control, empathy, and Christ-like love toward others.
 

A: Biblical correction and conversation, clear expectations, restorative practices, and partnership with families.

Athletics & Activities

A: Football, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Swim, Cross Country, Track and Field, Golf

A: Typically for lower school students, tryouts are held starting in Middle School and if you’re transferring from another school, that will vary depending on LHSAA rules and regulations.

A: Both teachers and coaches work very well together to maintain academics first always, then sports.

Parent Involvement & Communication

A: Via Email and texting service.

A: Not at all, but volunteers are highly welcomed.

A: We are always happy to have parents on campus helping if needed.

A: Through the proper channels of communication, directly to the teacher, then principal, then president.

Tuition & Practical Matters

A: Yes, from grades K3-12th.

A: Monthly, Bi-Annually, and Annually.

A: Maximum 36 for Preschool, 40 for Elementary, and 50 for Upper School. Each grade has two classes.

A: Waiting pools are an option if a class size is full.

Outcomes & Fit
